Peel Arts Collective presents.. “Here Comes the Sun” a psychedelic exploration of the 1960’s counter culture at the Green Leaf Vapour Lounge in Brampton, ON on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 4PM – 9PM. Attendees will experience live music and spoken word on theme with the night, peruse a gallery wall dedicated to counter culture and bohemian art for sale plus a selection of vendors selling handmade goods.

Green Leaf Vapour Lounge is Brampton’s premier marijuana lounge. You must be 19+ to attend.

If you are an artist or craftsperson who would like to rent a table for the night, please fill out the form below. Tables are $10.00 to rent with a maximum of eight tables available. Tables will be given on a first come, first serve basis the night of. Table fees must be paid by June 1, 2018 or your table will not be reserved for you.

If you are an artist who would like to display art for sale during the event, please fill out the appropriate form below. The gallery wall will be approximately 8ft x 8ft. All paintings should be no larger than 16” x 20”. Each artist may submit a maximum three pieces. The fee for hanging art is $10.00 – you do not have to display three pieces but the fee will remain the same if you do not. Your pieces must be wired properly before dropping off your work. Failure to wire your work properly may result in your pieces being unable to hang on the wall. All artists must submit photos of the work they are planning to hang. If your art pieces does not encapsulate the night’s theme, it may be rejected.

Peel Arts Collective will NOT be taking any commission on pieces sold at the event.

All e-transfers should have the password GREENLEAF. Please do not send e-transfers with passwords only you would know.

Deadline for art submissions and vendor applications is Sunday June 10th, 2018.

If you are a musician or spoken word artist who would like to perform during the event, please fill out the appropriate form below. PAC will be giving priority to musicians & performers who are on theme with the night – folk music, pop music, old school R&B are a few genres of music we are looking for.

If you are a spoken word performer, you material should be about counterculture, politics & social justice, war & peace, psychedelics or other topics which fit a 1960’s theme.

There is no cost to be a performer, nor will performers receive compensation – however they may put out a busking “tip jar” for the duration of their performance. Musicians will be required to supply their own equipment.  Performers will also share a merchandise table where they can offer a limited number of items such as CDs, books or t-shirts

We encourage all artists or crafts-person to draw, sketch or otherwise practice their craft live at their table if the type of work you create is capable of being done in a respectable, clean and organized manner. We reserve the right to ask any artist to stop the creation process if it becomes distracting, messy or otherwise looks to be damaging to property.

All artists will be responsible for manning their table for the duration of the entire event. The organizers nor Peel Arts Collective will be held responsible for any damages that may occur to your pieces during this event. If you suspect a patron of having damaged or stolen your goods, please report it to an organizer immediately so that the patron in question can be dealt with. Absolutely no damage will be caused by any artist renting the table and all tables and chairs should be returned in the same condition they were given.

All artwork received to be displayed is the responsibility of the artist. Peel Arts Collective and it’s organizers will take extreme caution & care when handling your work during the hanging & removal process but cannot be held responsible for any damages that may occur.

We reserve the right to deny your application if your work is hateful or extremely offensive. We also reserve the right to deny your application if it is wildly off-theme from the night (for example, submitting a painting of a Victorian-era woman).
