(BRAMPTON, April 10, 2018) — Peel Arts Collective: an artist’s collective creating subversive opportunities for creative people in the Peel Region, presents “Here Comes the Sun”. From 4:00PM to 9:00PM, “Here Comes the Sun” brings together a variety of artists, musicians and spoken word for a five hour exhibition exploring the topics and themes of the 60’s era. “Here Comes the Sun” will be hosted at Green Leaf Vapour Lounge in Brampton, ON located at 85 Rosedale Ave W Unit #1.
P.A.C has organized similar showcases in the past, such as “SAMBER: An Expression of Collection” and “After the Freeze” in Brampton, ON and “Cabin Fever” in Mississauga, ON. “Here Comes the Sun” continues to promote Peel Arts Collective’s objective of cohesiveness of the arts community in the Peel Region while cultivating opportunities for creative residents to sell their art, market themselves and engage with the local community.
With a cover of ten dollars, attendees nineteen years of age and over are invited into the cozy atmosphere of Green Leaf Vapour Lounge to peruse art exploring themes of the 1960’s including political activism, psychedelia, war & peace and much more. A selection of vendors will be selling handmade goods as performers fill the lounge with sounds of the era.
