Peel Arts Collective Invites Art Lovers to Thaw Out “After the Freeze”
(BRAMPTON, April 10, 2018) — Peel Arts Collective: an artist’s collective creating subversive opportunities for creative people in the Peel Region, presents “After the Freeze”. Hosted at Spot 1 Grill & Music Hall located at 289 Rutherford Rd S on Saturday May 19th, 2018. From 2:00PM to 7:00PM, “After the Freeze” brings together a variety of artists, musicians and spoken word for a five hour family friendly spring exhibition.
P.A.C has organized similar showcases in the past, such as “SAMBER: An Expression of Collection” in Brampton, ON and “Cabin Fever” in Mississauga, ON. “After the Freeze” continues to promote Peel Arts Collective’s objective of cohesiveness of the arts community in the Peel Region while cultivating opportunities for creative residents to sell their art, market themselves and engage with the local community.
With a cover of ten dollars (free admission for children under 10), attendees are invited to thaw out “after the freeze” with Peel Arts Collective and peruse the blooming artists of the Flower City selling a diversity of beautiful handmade goods, listen to the sounds of a festival of music and spoken word hosted by local author Paul Edward Costa, and take part in features like face painting by makeup and visual artist Nathan Wilson.
Artists and performers are welcome to be apart of “After the Freeze” by filling out an application (linked here.)
“After the Freeze” is organized by Amber Victoria Lee of Peel Arts Collective.
